What is the Children are a Gift Foundation?
Glory Babies began in January 2001. It was created under the umbrella of Grace Community Church, with the understanding that it would eventually become its own non-profit corporation. In July 2002, God opened the door for us to build a special Children's Park in Tyler, TX.
We decided to form the Children are a Gift Foundation, which celebrates the lives of all children — not just children who have died. We needed a financial vehicle for the Children's Park, and we saw no need to start two non-profit organizations, so Glory Babies became the catalyst for beginning the Children Are A Gift Foundation.
So… the Children Are A Gift Foundation is now the umbrella organization for Glory Babies, the Children's Park, and other organizations God brings our way.
Celebrating every child
From the very beginning, our heart has been to celebrate the lives of all children — those who have died, those living with special needs, and every child we are blessed to know.
