Children are a Gift Foundation
Peace, comfort, and support for families in Tyler, Texas
A safe, healing place for families who have lost a baby during pregnancy or in infancy.
Glory Babies was started in January 2001 out of a need to have a place to come to share with others who are or who have endured the loss of a child during pregnancy or in infancy. Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and Grace Community Church joined together to initially sponsor the group. We now are a ministry of the Children are a Gift Foundation. We chose our name based on the song "Glory Baby" by Watermark.
To reach out to those who are hurting, to be a safe place to share with others who have gone through similar trials, to grow together through the grieving process, and allow Jesus to heal our broken hearts.
To acknowledge and celebrate the lives of our babies that have died during pregnancy or in infancy and to network with other families who have experienced a similar loss.
We believe true healing from a loss only comes through knowing and receiving God's love, through His Son Jesus Christ. As we surrender our pain and anguish to Him, He replaces it with peace and joy, which surpasses understanding. If you want to know more about receiving God's love, please contact us at GodsLove@childrenareagift.com.
Our support group is open to anyone who has experienced or been touched by a loss. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves received from God."
